Hi! I have a problem with the labels I am using falling of cloth-covered books. This happens with both the spine labels and barcodes. Does anyone has a specific brand and model that does not present this problem? I remember when I started my employment as Automated Systems Librarian at Delaware State U. over ## years ago, the clerks would first type the barcodes or spine labels on a special foil label. Then she would apply heat. This transferred the lettering and/or numbering directly on the book. But it would need extra work I am trying to avoid. I am not even aware if this method is used any more! Any information will be appreciated. Take care, Luis R.
