Hi everyone. My name is Christina and I am a student who completing her =
undergrad at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia (in =
Canada). As the end approaches, I am looking into possible career =
options and one of them is to become a libriarian. I am looking for =
some insight as to what it is like, opportunities, and ways to get into =
the field. Can anyone tell me what is required to become an elementary =
or middle school librarian? How did you get into the field? What =
schooling options would you recommend? going into the PDP program =
(teaching certificate) or doing a master in library studies....? can you =
point me to good programs? I'm just looking for a starting point, =
really... it's a notion that sort of just came up. If anyone is =
interested in chatting with me about your experiences as a librarian i =
would be most grateful.

Thank you in advance,
Christina Wong =20
