Hello to all. I am enrolled in the library science program at Longwood University in Virginia and will complete my certification requirements this spring. I presently am a substitute teacher--I sub frequently at the nearby middle school. In my first collaboration class I learned of THE BIG 6 model program for teaching resource skills and feel it is a very valuable teaching tool. I prepared a PowerPoint on "The Big 6" for one of my classes. Now, I am seeking advice on creative ways to teach this process to middle school students in addition to using the forms & hints supplied on the BIG 6 website. I may post a hit if I get some useful tips. Thanks in advance for your help.
