Dear "netters",
A third grade bilingual teacher has asked for my advice on some good
Spanish titles (chapter books) that can be used in class. She would
like some English titles, but emphasized Spanish. If you can suggest
any titles that you know your third grade teachers like to use in the
classroom, I would love to be able to help this teacher as she has been
very reluctant to collaborate, and this may put my foot in the door a
little! These would be titles the students will read independently in
reading groups or with the teacher. Our students are
low-socio-economic and many are below level, but she asked for titles on
level. Any suggestions as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated
as I am sure they are working on an order deadline!
