This is a follow-up to my posting about whether Plagiserve.com is = delivering reports on uploaded papers. The answer is yes but it took = about 8 days for the results. Most of the lines of the student paper = they underlined and linked to web sites weren't even close to a match. = Several reports said 30% of the paper was suspect but upon inspection, = only the quotes from "Great Expectations" were a match but what was = confusing was that plagiserve highlighted many suspect sentences not = just the quotes directly from the piece of literature. Since none of = the papers I submitted were plagiarized, I don't have an opinion on its = ability to find and report works plagiarized from the web. I assume it = would work but the time turn around is annoying. =20 Cheryl B.
