Gen: Middle School Attitudes towards AR

Greetings all LM_Netters,
 As a first year middle school media coordinator, I am interested in =
studying the changes / or not of the attitudes of students in the 6th =
and 8th grades towards AR (Accelerated Reading).   If anyone has =
examined/studied this topic or knows of any literature/research on this =
topic, I'd love to hear from you.
