Hello, I have been asked to find some information for the teacher of our Programming I class regarding the use of Lego Mindstorms. She currently uses these programmable robots to introduce programming to a co-curricular club, but is interested in including the activity as an official part of her Programming I course. 1) Is anyone out there currently using these Lego Mindstorm kits to teacher programming? 2) If yes, how are they being used? 3) Anyone know of a supplier who will sell the kits to us for a good price? I know this a shot in the dark, but I'm hoping that someone can help us out. Thank you, dave Dave Wee, Librarian Harvard-Westlake Middle School 700 North Faring Road Los Angeles, CA 90077 (310) 288-3270 dwee@hw.com "You see, I don't believe that libraries should be drab places where people sit in silence, and that's been the main reason for our policy of employing wild animals as librarians." ~ Monty Python ~ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
