When I asked for suggestions on a new mammal encyclopedia, the majority =
of you recommended Marshall Cavendish. =20

Here is what I did. I narrowed my choice down to MC. I then contacted =
the Rep and asked him to bring out one book from each of the following =
sets:
International Wildlife
Encyclopedia of mammals
Wildlife and plants of the world

I looked at the books before making my decision. We are a 6/7 building. =
I felt Encyclopedia of Mammals was the best choice for us. This set did =
not cover as many animals as the I.W. but the coverage was in depth and I =
felt would best met the needs of my students. The I.W. had many animals, =
but the coverage was just a one page spread. I was not intersted in =
Wildlife and plants of the world at all.

Hope this helps.!!
