Hi all,
If you are looking for a humorous take on the upcoming holiday, I must
recommend the book Christmas Meltdown by Dan Reynolds. It is a book of
single page cartoons, similar to The Far Side. I've already purchased three
copies as gifts and I keep thinking of others who would enjoy it as well.
My 10 year old daughter loves it as does my 36 year old best friend. We
literally laugh out loud.
Just one example: "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets their wings,"
accompanied by a picture of an angel at a take-out counter getting a plate
full of Buffalo-style Chicken Wings.
I couldn't find it on amazon, but I did find it at booksense.com.
