Mattel at it's Barbie site is asking kids/parents to vote on a new =
Barbie. The choices are:
Librarian,Architect or Policewoman.

Voters were choosing Librarian by a huge margin :
86% Librarian
8% Architect
5% Policewoman
However the polls have changed and today these were the statistics:
37% Librarian=20
42% Architect
20% Policewoman
What do other LM NETTERS feel about a Barbie Librarian?
I find it interesting that the stereotypical Librarian is alive and well =
in Madison Ave when I saw the latest T-Mobile commercial with Catherine =
Zeta-Jones who tells her cell phone user to call the library when he =
needs a question answered.However when the Librarian appears on screen =
with her bun and glasses perched on her nose and answers in a nasal tone =
I realize there is work to be done!
By the way I wear glasses and have really short hair. NO BUN!
