LM_NET Archive

I was asked a question today which stumped me, but I thought my LM_NET =
friends might have some ideas! A teacher wants to know how complete =
bibliographic references should be at various grade levels. For =
example, "Grade 4 students are expected to include the Author (last name =
first) and the Title (underlined), in order by authors' last names; =
Grade 5 students must also include the publication date", etc. Have any =
of you dealt with this question? Do you have guidelines as to what =
point a"full" bibliography is required/recommended? And/or have you =
seen any literature or skills continuums which covers developing =
standards for bibliographies through the elementary school grades? Any =
thoughts would be welcomed. If I get replies, I will definitely post a =
HIT.
Thank you.
