SEC:Looking for movie with narrator

I have a teacher who is looking for a movie to show to his class that has
one of the characters narrating throughout the film. Kind of like the
newspaper reporter in Citizen Kane or the Richard Dreyfus narration in Stand
By Me. Is anyone familiar with other films with that type of narration? He
is using it with a memoir lesson so he wants the narrator to grow or learn
by the end.
