LM_NET Archive



When I came here in 1998 we used a magazine subscription service. I dropped
them completely because I was able to save a considerable amount of money
by ordering directly. I asked the business office first, because I didn't
want the savings to be eaten up by so much additional work on their part.
When they saw the savings, they said to go ahead. I'm getting about 25%
more titles than we were getting in 1998, and I'm spending less.

I realize that those of you with huge libraries may not want to do this,
because it is a bit more work on my part. On the other hand, if you are
trying to make every nickle go as far as possible, this may help.
