Our region has also had Barry Louis Polisar caome and perform for our Young
Authors Celebration this past May. He does songs and stories and poetry
and he's great! I could get more information on him if you reply that it is
wanted. He has lots of books and tapes and cds out. I think he's probably
more costly. What our school does is share the cost of the day with another
nearby school when we arrange for an author visit. That way the author
performs for 2 schools and makes it more worth his/her while and we save
money as well.
