Can anyone give me suggestions for books of the same caliber as Jan Karon's
The Mitford Series? Those were recommended to me by a LM-Netter a couple
summers ago as "books without sex, violence, or bad language and with a bit
of scripture thrown in."
I loved Jan Karon's books and recently did a booktalk at a ladies church
group on her Mitford Series books. The ladies now want me to do more
booktalks. Can you give me suggestions for books? I've read a few Janette
Oke and Bodie Thoene books and they're okay. Also, I know about the Left
Behind series, but I really want other suggestions.
Also, is there such a thing as a culinary mystery involving church
pot-lucks or ladies groups that doesn't have bad language, etc.?
