I received another suggestion from Jamie, and someone else (sorry, I = forgot to keep the name!) to gather the desired age of areas of your = collection. I did this and it really gives some interesting results. I = plan to use it to propose a bigger budget for our library. You can sign up for a free trial of BenchMarc at this address: http://www.sagebrushcorp.com=20 You import your collection to your desktop (They give instructions on how = to do this) and then they will analyze your collection by size, age, etc. = You can choose from several different reports.
