Colleagues: My art teacher just brought a library book to me that she purchased several years ago and last year put in the library collection. Now she finds that there are several nude sketches, and she is afraid that some of the junior high kids might either damage the book or else take it home and a parent cause problems. The book is _The Pen & ink book : materials and techniques for today's artist_ by Joseph A. Smith, published by Watson-Guptill. My question is this: if you have this book, at what level is it being used? The art teacher has offered to take the book back and keep it for just the hs advanced art students, but she also thinks it would be helpful for some junior high kids. Since my art collection is pretty large, giving this book back to her wouldn't hurt me any. What are your thoughts?
