I just finished my first Scholastic Fair and have decided that next time
we will not unpack the boxes of "gift items"/junk. Many of our children
who need books would rather spend their money on that than books.

I am in the middle of a Scholastic Fair for the first time and we have
sold over $3000 so far. Part of our success has to do with the
marketing that was done in our school. I have been pleased with the
additional materials that I am receiving and my only complaints are the
small, gift items that are difficult to keep up with and the book profit
program does not list titles in a way that make sense to a librarian.
It is missing authors and there are no descriptions of the material.
