Hello, I have some questions for those of you who already check out laptops to students. I received a grant to purchase laptops so that students can dial-in to the school's network and get Internet access from home. As my school is just starting this service, my tech guy and I have some questions: -what happens if a student "loses" a laptop? -how long are check out periods?-are there any forms a student and/or parent needs to sign before taking the laptop home?-are there any "rules" for laptop use? As we are just developing these policies, any help or samples of user policies that you may have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
