Fellow LM_Netters, My high school library used to be (and technically still is) classified as a community library. A person from my central office is really pushing us to renew our commitment to that end. I would love to have suggestions, ideas, or any advice about having the HS library also function as the community library. We do have a community library about 5 miles from here. Does anyone else exist under these cricumstances? When we had a visit from the comptroller last year, we were below acceptable standards already on our collection numbers. I would love to know how someone else makes this work well for the community and more importantly for the students at the school.
