This is my first year as a LMS in a library media center that needs lots of attention. One area is book repair. Many books are in bad shape and MANY others are slightly damaged..torn pages, damaged covers, bindings coming apart. I've been able to get about $200 to spend on book repair supplies (even though my budget isn't finalized and available yet). I'm planning to order from either DEMCO or Highsmith. My question is this: What are your suggestions for must-have supplies? I'm thinking about the 3M Scotch 845 book tape and possibly NorBond Adhesive. I'm also going to order clear label protectors for the barcodes and spine labels. Anything else? Currently, I have nothing! Thank you in advance for your suggestions. I'll be placing the order on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
