If the site is generally good, with just (so far) the one page having a
problem, I would write the webmaster (should be contact at bottom of
home page or on 'contact us'; page) AND the editor AND/OR owner of page.
It may be an honest mistake in coding, may be a shift from marketing.
But in any case, a nicely written piece of feedback (point to exact
page) should bring a response. Especially with web marketing and ad
revenues the way they are.

Before sending off a message, try a different computer. If it is a code
problem it can be pretty specific, i.e. problem with Netscape 6 but not
7, etc. If it is OK in another configuration, the webmaster can track
down the error a lot more easily.

And I guess we all need to add that piece to our materials
evaluation/selection process.

Subject: How do you get rid of advertisements that pop up on sites?????

I wanted to printout a coloring sheet that was on a suggested site
fro= m=20 a LM -NET subscriber. An advertisement kept popping up.
Usually I can x ou= t=20 of them easily, but this one was really pesky.
I went ahead and printed it=20 hoping that the ad would not print out,
but it did. =20
I wanted to recommend this site to my teachers at a faculty
meeting,=20 but now I'm not so sure they will want to contend with the
hassel. I=20 understand that the site is sponsored by a corporation,
but this is=20 ridiculous. I do not want to name the site in this post.
I think it a very= =20 good site and would pass it on to my faculty
except for this problem. Any=20 suggestions? TIA,=20
