One of my students is trying to remember a book title. It goes something
like this --
"It is about a man who breaks his shoelace so buys a new one to replace
it. The new shoelace is too nice for his old shoes so he must buy new
shoes to match. Then he has to buy
a new suit, his wife new clothes, a new house, etc..... I think he might
go into debt at the end and lose all the new stuff."
Does anyone remember the title?
