I love Eyewitness books -- I think they're gorgeous and well written
-- and they certainly circulate well in this K-5 library.  But in
general, I feel they're written at too high a reading level for
nearly all of my students.  Have others found this to be true?  Are
there simpler (but equally attractive) alternatives?
