First, it seems in these times that allowing unannounced, unauthorized
people to travel the hallways of the school building is a big security
risk.
Second, it is the policy in our school system that any vendors wishing to
call on librarians first clear it with our central office. Maybe all of
you don't have that option, but surely there must be some way to filter
out some of the phone calls/visits. It seems just common courtesy to make
an appointment before calling on anyone.
