TARGET--> Cataloging of Vintage Periodicals

Greetings,

R.A.Long HS, being 75 years old, has a *wealth* of old periodicals.  =
Most of the musty-ies have been pitched, but representative general =
magazines of each decade, and Life's *Year in Pictures* are being =
archived, due to a project in the English department.

I am considering my cataloging options, as we do not have Reader's =
Guides to PL covering those years; perhaps a local subject heading of =
*Historic Magazines*,  or *Twenthieth Century--Decade Magazines* with =
contents defined by volume; or *--Twentieth Century--Special =
Collections*. =20

Any opinion on this from those having cataloged the same type of =
materials?
