Hello to my elementary colleagues: I am wanting to hear from elementary LMSs with 2nd and 3rd grades who teach lesson [s] on and about the countries studied in these grades (i.e. China, Egypt, Greece, Italy, and Mali) I would am interested in knowing the following: 1. what topics and subjects about the countries do you teach lessons and feel comfortable preparing and teaching? [ what/where does our contribution begin and end?] 2. what library/media AND computer/technology skills, objectives and concepts do you mesh/intertwine with the topics and subjects about the countries? 3. any literature (F or NF) and activities that enhance your lessons and units about the countries? Please correspond to me at the email address below, and I will post a hit if I get any replies. Thank you very much for your replies, input, and information.
