TARGET: American Girl Books

I will probably teaching summer school this year and we will be doing
mini-camps. We are responsible for coming up with our own ideas. An LM_NET
member
has done an "American Girls" camp based on the popular books. I love this
idea!

 In my library I've got some of the American Girl books by Valeria Tripp and
Janet
Shaw. I think those are a little too much for a read aloud for my K-2 grade
level.

 I did some research on Amazon.com and found some books that "look" like
they may be a little more suitable. Problem is we don't have them in my
library.

 Does anyone have any of these books -
Author Catherine Gourley
    Samantha's World
    Felicity's World
    Molly's World
Author Susan Sinnott - Addy's World
Author Yvette LA Pierre - Josefina's World

If you do can you please comment on them in terms of a read-aloud and their
appropriateness to a first and second grade audience?
