I wanted to quickly follow-up with the information regarding our author
visit on March 19, 20, 21 with YA author, Mel Glenn. Mel did a FANTASTIC
job working with the students and the teachers! He was able to spend an
extended amount of time with us--primarily due to flight schedules--so we
were very lucky to have an "extra" English teacher hanging around, talking
with students about writing, and encouraging everyone to have the "courage"
to write.

I have been struggling with our Internet server for the past nine days and
finally was able to upload his presentation photos yesterday. The link to
my (not-yet-finished) library website is:
http://faculty.trinityvalleyschool.org/library/page31.html

The cost was very reasonable (please email me for specifics) and Mel is a
wonderful, easy-going person to work with! I would encourage you to contact
him if you're looking for an author visit--and especially for the month of
April (Poetry Month). Mel's books present poetry (prose) to students in a
way that encourages them to read everything he writes.

His website is: http://www.melglenn.com
