Dear Netters,
I am putting together a plan for an "extreme" book club for
reluctant or struggling readers, using a theme of extreme sports,
machines, etc. I am looking for fiction suggestions for grades 3
through 5, with an emphasis on low level books. I can find lots of
non-fiction, but so far, I have only come up with the Matt
Christopher titles (Snowboard Maverick, Dirt Bike Runaway, etc. etc.)
Can you recommend any other specific titles that would be appropriate
for this group? It will probably be mostly boys. I will post a hit.
