Humor: Pledge of Allegiance

One of our K-5 students leads the pledge over the intercom each morning
after announcements. At the first of the year, the office staff start
with 5th grade volunteers and move down the grade levels... By this time
of year, they are to 2nd graders who are not quite as smooth and
polished as they lead. One day last week, a second grader was doing
great... Until she got to "liberty and justice for all." She said VERY
CLEARLY... "with LIBRARY and justice for all." I got a lot of teasing
about that all day and my comeback was, "I've been trying to teach them
the library IS for all! I'm glad she got the message!"
