Help, Wise Ones! For National Poetry Month, I am teaching about all kinds of poetry. I am stuck, however, for examples of couplets. One of my second-grade teachers specifically requested only *two-line* couplets, which makes it a bit more difficult (as opposed to several couplets chained together). I have looked in indexes, and poetry anthologies, searched proverbs and in desperation, searched the web. Thank you so much, because I know you will come through for me!
