Our lower school librarian (at our private school) requires the teacher to
stay with their students---working usually in another area of the library.
She has an assistant but asks that the teachers be available to help her
with her students during library times.

Most of the teachers schedule their library time to work on projects, do
their lessons, or use the laminator, Ellison machine, or do some online
searching while their students are with the librarian.

Subject: LIBRARY PROCEDURE

> Hello,
> I am a first year librarian at an elementary private school. When
scheduling teachers to come into the library with their classes for weekly
library time, what is the best procedure to follow? Should the teachers
remain in the library with their classes during that time or should they
leave them with you? I have no assistant. I am in the library by myself.
> Thanks so much for your help.
