TAR:4th Gr Collaborative Project

Hi Everyone!

I am a new K-4 librarian and am looking for some ideas.  The previous
librarian has told me that the 4th grade team at our school is the
hardest to get involved with collaborative library projects.  So, when
they actually approached her at the end of last school year about a
project idea for the beginning of school she was ecstatic!  She let me do
the research and find appropriate books for them to use.  The books
arrived this week and they look great!  Now, I need a ZINGER of an idea
to hook this 4th grade team into coming back for more!

Their project is on fresh water habitats and I want to do some type of
creative project rather than just a simple written report.  I'm up for
anything, especially integrating technology (websites, computers, power
point presentations, digital cameras etc).  Any ideas????  Thanks for
your help!
