Hello Group,
I have two questions to start off this year.

1. I have been assigned to one night of Alternative Education each week this year.
Our classes have been moved to evenings to save money. There also is a Math
teacher and a Science teacher and they come on other evenings. The LA teacher and
the SS teacher are there every evening as they will run the program. I am
responsible for approximately 24-36 students that will meet with me in groups of 12
for 75 minutes once a week. I am supposed to come up with my own curriculum. I
will not teach library skills in isolation so I will depend on the curriculums of
the other teachers. We will do some type of literary circles. These are students
9th -12th grades who have not had success in traditional school for many reasons.
Do you have any ideas for lessons? Do you know of any materials I could use?

2. I want to write a grant for a multi-media cart. Do you have one? What is on
it? What do you suggest? Do you have special places from which you prefer to
order?

THANK YOU so much for any answers you can give me to these two questions. It is so
good to be back. Hope you all have a great year.
