Hello everyone and welcome back to those of us who are getting started with school again! My first request of my new school year - A eighth grade math teacher has asked me for resources that have cooperative group activities that also describe the group roles and jobs (i.e. The recorder, etc.) for the tasks. She wants to use these group activities in her prime-time as part of an ongoing project to teach (remind?, expose?) her students how to cooperate with people other than friends. Do any of you know of an age appropriate resource for this type of activities. It goes beyond an ice-breaker activity, but I don't think she wants the "you have 5 people to get across the stream" kind of thing. Any suggestions?
