We just held a Scholastic Bookfair and were very pleased with it. We usually have a week long one in March and do between 4000 and 5000 in sales. We were contacted last spring about having one to go with our Back to School night. We were promised that it would be a case fair with very few extras (junk) that usually accompany the fair. We received 6 cases and about 10 displays for Junie B. Jones, Goosebumps, etc. There also were the pencils, erasers etc but not the rest of the things. There was still a Teacher incentive that if they purchased 4 items they would get the 5th free (from the books in the fair). We held the fair last night from 6 to 8 pm and did $1600 in sales--the fair was packed up today. It was very little effort and we got $800 in free books for our incentives and ourselves. It was the easiest fair we ever held and we would do it again.
