TARGET: Video cameras

Colleagues:

Do any of you have tv news shows that you produce? If so, what sort of
digital video cameras are you using? I've gotten the okay to get three new
cameras, and I'd like to get the best I can without breaking the bank. I'm
looking for something that is reasonably rugged and "idiot-proof" (I know,
bigger idiot coming), but simpler is better.

Send me your suggestions off-list, and I'll post a hit if there is any
interest.
