HIT: books similar to Magic Tree House

I had several replies to my request for books similar to, but at a higher
reading level, than TMH books.

Several people mentioned:

Time Warp Trio by Scieska
Scholastics "Dear America" and Royal/Princess Diaries series.
*Just a note, here in Canada, we have the "Dear Canada" series (I think we
can get the American books too) and another similar "historical girls"
series called "Our Canadian Girls" (which is probably more a 3-4 RL)
Magic Attic Club
