Would you like to advance your professional career through the development of new
Web-based skills? Simon Fraser University in partnership with TELEStraining has
developed an innovative and exciting online program to teach participants how to
design, produce, and teach online courses.

The Certificate in Web-Based Instruction (CWI) combines both conceptual and
technical skills for teaching and learning online. Participants learn to create
their own online courses using a delivery platform of choice after examining
various commercial and open source systems. The program uses conferencing, chat,
video, video, and mail to cover current eLearning topics. A maximum of 20
participants supported by 2 instructors will work in an online collaborative
environment.

On Friday, December 12th at 11:00-11:30 pm PST (GMT -08:00) there will be a Webcast
featuring the instructors of the Certificate in Web-Based Instruction (CWI).
