HIT-NY State Reference for American History/Global Studies

Hello,

Thanks to all who responded to my request.  I called
the 7-12 Social Studies teachers in for a meeting and
explained the choices, the lack of current material in
the media center, etc.  They could not think of a
reason for me to purchase any new "set" of reference
books as their workload is heavy and the required
curriculum moves too quickly for research projects
!!??????? They were interested in the GaleNet History
Resource Center: Modern World database.   Maybe
research is on the way out...?
