This was really emphasized in our district - NEVER include passwords to any
subscription database right on your website.   The subscription is a
contractual, legal  agreement between the district, its
students/families/staff & the vendor.   Passwords posted on the website are
available to EVERYONE/ANYONE who happens across the website, whether they
are members of the district or not.   And if they are NOT, they do not have
the privilege of using the databases the district has paid for!
