Tech: Digital camera

The clock is ticking closer and closer towards the holidays and I have to
make a decision about a digital camera.
Can you make a recommendation?

I am looking for an EASY digital camera - one that we can use to send photos
thru the e-mail, or have developed. I don't have a great printer and it's
not in the budget so I will be relying on K-Mart or a drug store to have
them processed. I DON"T NEED ANYTHING FANCY!!!

I borrowed a new Nikon from school. Although it says it has automatic shut
off it went thru two sets of batteries in one day. Also the directions said
I have to restart the computer every time I plug in the camera, thru it's
USB cord. That is a pain in the neck!

I am hoping to spend about $200.

Any ideas?
