Access files are often problematic because many mail systems will block them due to the nature of the file (thinking it could be a virus or something). The best trick to use is to save your Access file the regular way, and then rename the file extension in Explorer to something else (can be anything just so long as it is not .mdb). Then, when your friend receives the file they will have to change the extension back to .mdb before trying to open it. I hope this is what you need.
