TAR: ELEM: Incentives for Test Success

While I regret the intense focus being put on test results nationwide, we all
know that the pressure is on districts across the country to improve scores.
Our district is no exception.  My intention is not to set off a debate on the
merits/demerits of the focus on test results, but perhaps some LM_NET
colleagues will have a suggestion for the following --

In my gr. 5-6 building, the principal is looking for incentive/reward ideas to
encourage students to hang in there through the preparation, practice and
actual test-taking.  We are looking for "thank-you" suggestions.  Ideas on the
table so far are a fun assembly, a dance, coupons to local establishments such
as a skate rink, McDonald's, movie theater, etc.  Any fresh ideas out there?
