Hi, A special ed. teacher came to me with a request to buy high interest & low readability books. We got some money okayed by the principal. She is look for a reading level of 1.5 - 2.5 and and interest level 3 - 5. The teacher brought in a catalog called "Incentives for Learning." In this catalog are series of books H/L with RL of 1.5-1.8 and interest levels 4 - 12. My concern, I've not heard of this company and do not know of the quality of these books. I went on their web site. They did not include examples of the pages of the books. So, I am asking for two things: 1) has anyone used this company for this type of book? If so, what is your opinion. 2) Do have a suggestion for another good vendor for this type of book. Those I've looked at so fat have higher reading levels. Thanks in advance, Judy Seck jseck@lsd.k12.mi.us Teacher & Media Specialist Willow Elementary School Lansing, MI 48915 V 517 325 6886 V 517 325 7348 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
