Our fourth grade teacher is considering using a series of novels (or biographies or nonfiction) instead of a conventional reader next year. I have some ideas to suggest to her, but I'm back in elementary school after a long stint in high school, and I'm not quite up to speed on elementary books yet. However, I know that many of y'all will have lots of great ideas. BTW, the books should not be above fourth grade reading level. Please reply directly to me at: lward904@aol.com TIA!
