Target: Elem Books re: absentee fathers

There is a child in 1st grade who has no contact with their father, and our
 guidance counselor asked me to try and find a book for her to help deal
with
the issue.  All I'm finding are books for parents or older children - but I
knew if anyone would know of age-appropriate materials on the subject, it
would be you folks.  Thanks for any help in advance.
