Funny you should bring up "TELL NO ONE". I bought this book by Harlan
Coben at a yard sale in a batch of paperbacks in a box. Probably paid
somewhere in the neigborhood of 25 cents or less. I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN
EITHER! Right now the 4th member of my faculty is reading it. All have
had the same reaction...couldn't put it down. I interlibrary loaned ALL
the titles from our public library by Coben, approximately 6. There are
more. I've read them all. Consistently the ones copyrighted before "TELL
NO ONE" are not as compelling. Good, but not quite as
grabbing. Consistently the ones copyrighted AFTER "TELL NO ONE" are
almost as compelling as "TELL NO ONE". It certainly appears to me that
Coben has hit his stride and pretty well kept it. I will certainly read
all that he writes, hoping that he repeats his marvelous "TELL NO
ONE" feat. The thing I loved most about this book...the whole plot is
around today's most used technology...a thing that we all connect
with... email. The one clue to remember about just how much I loved this
book...it is going on my permanent bookshelf...to be reread at some time
in the future. I heartly recommend you interlibrary loan this book
too! Unless of course, mysteries are not your thing! Ann

p.s. The other title I have on my permanent bookshelf to be
reread... is an oldie (but not appropriate for a school library...) is
"SIX DAYS OF THE CONDOR". The old Robert Redford movie, THREE DAYS OF THE
CONDOR was based on it. If you've only seen the movie, get the original
book verison, SIX DAYS OF THE CONDOR... I couldn't put it down
either. Don't bother with THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR...it is word for
word the movie version... SIX DAYS HAS SO MUCH MORE DEPTH. The business
teacher here who used to work in an office, had told me=20
she found it so compelling, because she could absolutely put herself in
the protagonist's place... in other words, go out for coffee for the
whole office...come back to find everyone murdered...then you are forced
out on the run... because they are after you because you know too
much...but you don't know what it is you know... you don't know who to
trust, because you don't know who is trying to kill you.
