Help with Outlook Express

I just began using MSOutlook for mail.  I need help in reading LMNet in Digest form.
It arrives as mail with an attachment.  EVERY message is an attachement.  Instead 
of being able to scroll down and read each message, I now have to open, close, 
delete each message separately.
     Is there some way to be able to scroll all the digest, reading each message 
and then delete?
    This is a new computer and I previously used a different browser.
